Requirements to collect WAEC original result
Below are the requirements to collect your waec results from waec
1. One Passport
2. Photo card
3. Computer printout of the result
4. Certificate Collection Fee of 5,000 Naira.
Note: Those items above are the things you must have before you can collect your original result from any of the WAEC offices across all the five member countries.
For students who participated in the WAEC for school candidates, the school you wrote your examination might ask you to pay an extra fee irrespective of the fee posted above.
How to collect WAEC (GCE) original results.
If you participated in either of the WAEC (GCE) private examinations, for the first or second series, you can collect your original certificate in any of the WAEC offices that are close to you.
To collect the original results(certificate), you will have to provide one passport, one photo card, a computer printout of your result, and a sum of five thousand (5, 000) naira.
Note: WAEC management will charge you an extra fee if your certificate has been in their office for more than 4 years and above.
Steps to collect your WAEC (GCE) original results online
Private candidates can now make requests for their certificates. The requested certificate would be delivered to any WAEC office of choice.
1. Go to https://certrequest.waec.ng/
2. On the homepage, click on the request certificate button.
3. Select the appropriate year, and type of examination you participated in and pin.
4. Click submit.
How to collect WAEC original results for school candidate
For those of you that wrote the WAEC for school candidates (not waec for private candidates), to collect your original certificate you ought to go to the school where the examination was conducted irrespective of the location you are.
You may need to provide your passport photograph and a computer printout of the results plus the five thousand (5, 000) naira fees for the certificate
Note: The school might charge you an extra fee for the collection.
The extra fee charged to collect the WAEC original certificate varies from school to school. In that case, you have to prepare extra money for the collection.
I could remember how the principal of one school charged my friend extra cash of 5, 000 naira for the collection of his certificate plus the normal fee making everything 10, 000 naira.
How to collect lost/ stolen WAEC results
To collect your lost or stolen WAEC certificate you will need to request WAEC attestation of results on their official website.
Steps to collect your damage/stolen WAEC results online
1. Visit request.waec.org
2. Click on the menu bar on the home page and select the make a request link.
3. Select and Fill out the appropriate form input correctly and click request.
Note: To make a request, you will need to buy a token.
