The NECO tokens are a set of 12-digit numbers that are given to students who participated in the NECO examination for them to check their results online. This code is owned by the NECO and to use it you will need to purchase it.
These tokens are used to check for all NECO examinations like Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), SSCE external, (SSCE) internal, and the National Examination Council (NCEE).
Is the NECO token the same as a scratch card?
No. The NECO tokens are pins that are bought online they don't need to be scratched to use after buying them while scratch cards are not sold online but are sold at a physical location like a retail shop and they need to be scratched by individuals who purchased them before it can be used.
Note: The National Examination Council no longer accepts scratch cards to use in checking results on their platform. To check your NECO results you will need to buy your token.
How much is the NECO token?
665 naira. The NECO token is 665 naira on the NECO platform. But to buy it, the whole process will cost you eight hundred and twenty-nine naira (829) approximately 830.

How many times can NECO token be used to check results?
5 times
Like other results checkers, the NECO can be used to check student results a maximum of 5 times. After you have exceeded this couple of times you will need to purchase another one if you want to further check your results.
Can one NECO token be used to check more than one result?
Unfortunately, you can not use one NECO token to check for more than one result. According to NECO, the token is made for only one result and to serve only one candidate. That means immediately this token has been used to check NECO results by a candidate will no longer work for another candidate even if chances are remaining per the token.
Does the NECO token expire?
No. The NECO token for checking results doesn't expire. It is only expiry when you exceed the number of times that it is limited to check results. It means that this token can serve individuals for a couple of days, months, or even years as long as you do not exceed the number of times it can serve.
