About the scholarship
The Cambridge scholarship programme is organized and sponsored by the former
president of the Gates Foundation - Bill Gates and his ex-wife Melinda
Gates to help intellectual post-graduates who could continue with their
studies due to the financial crisis to fund their respective field of study at
the University of Cambridge.
The scholarship programme is made especially for international students. And
2third of it is majorly meant to be for postgraduate
The scholarship schemes were started on October 20000 with donations worth
US$210m.
Since the beginning of this scholarship by the Bill and Melinda Gates
Foundation, it has helped more than 2081 Cambridge Alumni spread across the
world.
The scholarship covers all the funding a student needs to complete his course
at the University no matter the type of course or research you need to know at
Cambridge. It also provides additional, discretionary funding. The scheme
is ready to take care of University Composition Fee, inbound visa costs & the cost of the Immigration Health Surcharge, and
maintenance fees which usually cost around US$18744 per year per
individual
