In this tutorial, I will show you how to download the official Agricultural science syllabus that was released by the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) for the year 2023/2024. The reason for this syllabus was to prepare the students ahead of their jamb and post-UTME examination.
This syllabus in agricultural science comprises all the required topics that you must know before the examination commenced. It is grouped into four basic parts. They are; agricultural technology animal production, agricultural economics and extension, and general agriculture.

The syllabus is divided into five parts, which are:

2. Soil fertility.
3. Soil water and soil conservation.
4. Land preparation and soil tillage.
5. Plant propagation method.
6. Plant forms and functions.
7. Growth, development, and reproduction.
8. Crop husbandry.
9. Cropping system, planting patterns, and plant densities.
10. Weeds.
11. Floriculture.
12. Pasture and crops.
13. Crop pests.
14. Crop diseases.
15. Forest management.
C. Animal Production
1. Animal Nutrition
2. Reproduction in farm animals.
3. Anatomy and physiology of farm animals.
4. form and classification of major farm animals in west Africa.
5. Animal health.
6. Livestock management.
7. General terminologies in animal production.
8. Fisheries and wildlife.
9. Beekeeping (apiculture).
