This post contains a list of all the federal, and state universities that are not governed or not under the control of ASUU. So, if that is what you are looking for, you will find it in this post.
When you hear about the universities, not under ASUU, we are talking about those federal, state, private, and colleagues of education that are not among the members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). These universities or schools are not affected by any of the things inflicted by ASUU no matter what it may be including university strikes. Since these schools are mostly owned by the state or individual, they are always on even if other universities are on strike.
Before l start to list out these universities, let's see what ASUU mean and the reasons they were formed.
What is ASUU?
According to the multilingual online encyclopedia Wikipedia, ASUU which stands for Academic Staff Union of Universities is a member that was formed by the Nigeria Association University of Teachers (NAUT) in 1965 to cater to the need of all federal government-owned universities at that time and later on. I am not going into more details about this but rather show you all the school that was not formed by or not under the control of these organizations.
In my list here, I have some federal university that is currently not other ASUU and all other schools that are not owned by the federal government.

As you can see from above, those are all the schools you can choose from if you don't want your education to be delayed by the so-called ASUU strike. Nevertheless, you can still wait for the ASUU to call off their strike if you did not found any University that suits your taste. But, before you decide to choose, ask yourself the following questions.
1. Does this university I want to choose to help me to achieve my dream career?
2. Is the school fees too expensive or within my budget?
3. Is it close to my city/town?
You have to be cautious in any of the actions you want to take next because your future lies on it.
Suggested Answers to the above questions.
Does this university I want to choose to help me to achieve my dream career? To know if the school is about to help you to achieve your go, you must, first of all, check the courses that are available in that particular school before you decide whether is okay or not.
Is the school fees too expensive or within my budget? Some schools demand high student fees while others have less. So, you have to check if the school fees of the University you plan to study your course are expensive or beyond. Since these schools are mostly owned by private enterprises and individuals, their school fees can not be compared to the federal government's schools.
Is it close to my city/town? Here is another important thing you need to consider when choosing a university to go to. The closest school to you is better. But if you have what it takes to run traveling from school to your home during a holiday or during an emergency you can omit this question, but if you don't make sure you think before you choose.
