What is the UNN JUPEB form for? Is it the same as the UNN post-UTME screening?

As newbies, I know some of you might have some questions like that in mind. So, let me quickly answer those questions for you before I begin to talk about how to do the registration.

What is the UNN JUPEB form for?

Well, the JUPEB admission helps the students who could not enter or be admitted into the university because of their low JAMB marks or the students who also could not participate in the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination to be able to gain direct admission into their preferred institution across the nation.

The UNN JUPEB programmes lead to the award of the JUPEB certificate which will enable students to be able to gain direct entry admission into any of the degree programmes within the school.

Is UNN JUPEB the same as the UNN post-UTME screening?

NO. The UNN JUPEB admission form is different from the post-UTME form. The JUPEB form is only for the students who did not write or have a low score in their JAMB but want to go to the university through direct entry admission/ without UTME requirements while the UNN post-UTME form is for the students that want to enter the Nsukka University with their JAMB score. Hope you got the difference now.

The question that might be trembling now is, how do I enroll for admission? And what are the requirements for gaining admission? Few relaxed, each question will be answered in this post. But before I answer those questions let me quickly tell you the duration of UNN JUPEB admission. I guess you want to hear it, right? So let's talk about it.

How many years for the UNN JUPEB programmes?

The UNN JUPEB programme's duration is a minimum of one academic session (1 year) of two semesters. Notice that I used minimum. The reason is that the least program for any student is between one academic but those who want to extend theirs to 2 years or more are still free to do so. How do the programs work? Well, the program works this way: the student who enrolls for one year will start from level 2 in the university as a direct entrance while the one who enrolls for two years will start from level 3, and so on. Different person has different taste in something. So, choose the one that will work best for you.

Requirements for the UNN JUPEB program

To be eligible, candidates must have at least a minimum of 5 credits in their O'level results including mathematics and English language, and other relevant subjects to the candidate's desired course of study in the university. The candidates must not have more than two sitting results.
