Happy reading and make sure you get what you are looking for. Before you start your reading, I want you to know that I have written about how to prepare for and pass the WAEC examination.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has specific requirements for students who wish to enroll in its examinations. Students must select the correct subjects for their course, and the number of subjects should not be greater than 9 or less than 8. It is important to note that although students may select all the available subjects, only 5 of them are necessary for admission into higher institutions. Therefore, it is crucial to choose the appropriate subjects during enrollment to avoid data correction issues later on.

Some students may not have a clear understanding of how to choose suitable subject combinations, which can lead to doubts about whether they have made the right choices or not. This article aims to provide guidance on subject combinations for WAEC candidates. By the end of the article, students will understand how to choose the correct subjects for their courses. They will learn about the compulsory and recommended subjects, and gain a deeper understanding of the ones recommended by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination.
