When I tell people that they can get an Adsense account approver just within 4 weeks (1 month) after they apply they will find it difficult because they have tried almost all their effort to request it but they didn't still get it. But what if I tell you that I got mine 1 day after following the guidelines that I received from experts - both the Adsense community and blog owner? would you still believe me or you won't?
I know it is still hard for you to believe. Right? Yes, it will be hard for you because you always get rejected whenever you try. But there is good news. I am ready to explain all the strategies that help me to get my account approved by Adsense.
To be frank, to get an Adsense nowadays is getting much tough for a lot of people. Compared to the days when it just started. You can hardly get rejected those days because the space was still scanty by then. But now, it gets much more populous The reason is that a lot of people are applying each day. So Google only approves the website that follows its webmaster guidelines.
Let me quickly brief you about my experience. The journey started on October 2019. When I joined the blogging system, All I thought then is just to publish an article without even checking for other things that are considered by Adsense management like quality content and the webmaster guidelines.
When I first apply for Adsense, I had barely 30+ blog posts on my blogger account. And this post can make my account be approved but It didn't. Even though my blog was already 6 months and this was another strategy that could have helped me, but not still work for me.
Not until I was rejected more than 20 times that I started searching for what I am not doing right. Is not what I thought at first I later got. My account was approved after 2+ years.
Why did I say I was approved within a day when the actual duration was 2 years?
My motive for saying that was because I did not count those days that I was doing the wrong thing. My counts started from the day I started to follow the guidelines that I suppose to follow.
Yes, it is true, your account will be activated when you started to do the right thing on your website. But, what do you need to do? what strategy did I use?
How to get an Adsense account approver - 5 tricks that work
1. Write a quality content
The first thing you need to keep in mind when you want to write a blog post is quality content. This is one of the strategies the Adsense committee always focuses on. What is quality content? And how can one create quality content?
Good content is original, actionable, and answers a question. It must be unique from other content. It must be free from grammatical errors and well-arranged. How do you create quality content?
As a passionate blogger, you are expected to write your content. That means you going to write blog posts from start to the finish - plagiarise-free range.
Google crawler is built in a way that it can detect plagiarised content. It stores everything in the database, so when it is crawling your website and now sees that it has stored something like that, that page will be marked as duplicate content when. Avoid any copy and past practice.
This does not mean that you can not quote from another blogger. You are free to quote other bloggers like you, but make sure you use quotation marks to specify the particular place you want to mention such a thing.
Google values quality content from bloggers and they want you to aim your view. So you must use the way you understand the topic to explain it instead of copying from another source that has already been stored by its crawler.
2. Avoid writing thin content
Yes, you got rejected by Adsense when you write or they find thin content on any of the pages on your website. Google only approves websites that cover a particular topic in question. What then is thin content?
According to Yoast management, Thin content is content that has little or no value to the user. This type of content is regarded by the search engine as doorways content because it only talks about a little part of a topic. For example, Advert posts, and guest blog posts.
The Adsense team wants your content to cover at least the basic things that are related to the topic in question. The words count in your blog post should be at least 600. Any content that has a low word counts below this will be regarded as thin content.
3. Structure your site navigation
Even if you followed the number and the number two things I discussed above, you may not still be approved if you fail to structure your site correctly. But how? You need to arrange every page on your website.
To do this, you need to have a navigation menu that holds links to every page on your website. Let's assume your website is about sports, you will make sure you designate each page according to the topic they talk about.
For example, you may have a menu bar like Hockey, Football, Tennis and then have a submenu or even mega menu - for football, you may have English Premier League, World cup, and so on. You have to make your site accessible to all users from the homepage.
One other thing to put in mind when structuring your site outlook is the mobile users. Since most people are now using mobile computers to browse the internet often as they do with their wide-screen (i.e laptops and desktops) computers, you must make sure your site navigation also looks good for this type of browser.
Category/label handling
If you use blogger or any of the Content Management systems (CMS) like WordPress, you are advised to always specify the category/ label that each blog posts belong to and then copy the URL and paste it inside of the menu bars.
4. Remove external advertisements from your website
Google doesn't like adding advert links on a website that has already run some advertisements. When you have such a thing on your site you will never be approved by the Adsense committee because it is against their community standard.
If you are already running such an advert, we recommend you remove it first before you apply. If your site is approved, then you can put them. But be very cautious when you are placing them back. Do not let them interfere with the ones that are placed by Google, otherwise, your account might be terminated for their policy violation. Make sure you read the Adsense guideline before you decide how to place them without affecting your Adsense account.
5. Make your traffic to be genuine
Google Adsense is very strict when determining the type of traffic that goes to your website before they can approve any user. Both their bot and users are very efficient in eliminating invalid traffic.
Is the traffic coming to your site genuine or auto-generated? Do you use any source that is against the Google publisher policy to drive traffic to your site?
Frankly speaking, your account won't be approved when it comprises fake visitors. Remember there is nothing better than having end users that genuinely visit your site. Does it matter what drives traffic to your website? Yes, it does.
