Can I easily get to my home when an emergency arises? Do I have a relative or friend who studies at the university or lives close by?

5. The environment

Besides where you live, you’ll spend a great deal of time on your university campus. Outside of lectures, you’ll hang out with friends, study or work on group projects, grab a bite or drink, attend events, use the athletics or recreation facilities, and more. Pick a university you like by narrowing down what you’re looking for.

What type of environment do you like, densely populated or less populated? Is the environment secure in terms of security? Would it affect your health conditions(especially for people fighting a disease)?
