Working off-campus
To be able to work on campus:
1. your course duration must longer than six (6) months,
2. you’re a full-time student at a designated learning institution (DLI) ,
3. you are enrolled in a post-secondary academic,
4. vocational or professional training program or a secondary-level vocational training program, (Quebec only)
5. you have a valid Social Insurance Number(SIN), and
Note: A student on authorized leave, or the one switching schools who is not studying can not work.
Working on-campus
To work on-campus:
1.you must have a valid study permit
2.you must have a Social Insurance Number (SIN)
3.you must be a full-time post-secondary student.

Students can only work 20hours weekly while they are studying in Canada.
How Much can you earn?
The money you can earn depend on the work and the company your are working for. Averagely, most companies pay $20 per hour. If for example you earn $20 per hour, your weekly payment will be $400.
