The board has also rescheduled the 2023 UTME, which was originally set to commence on Saturday, 29th April 2023, to a new date range starting from Tuesday, 25th April and ending on Tuesday, 2nd May 2023.

JAMB has stated that the reason for adjusting the date of the UTME is to make room for other major national assignments, with the hope that no citizen would be denied the opportunity to carry out their civic responsibilities. It is important to note that the Board cannot shift its examination forward, as other public examinations are scheduled to begin in early May 2023. Additionally, the Board needs to accommodate institutions with a stable academic calendar, so they can resume as planned.

JAMB will continue to work closely with relevant government agencies to ensure that its candidates receive the best possible support. The Board seeks the understanding of all as it fulfills its critical mandate.

The JAMB management has advised candidates who encounter errors while checking their mock examination results to continue checking the website, as the issue may be due to a network problem.
