services promoted by the company.
The aim of its developers as termed on the about us page of their website is
to emerging markets across Asia, Africa, and Latin America in countries
like Mexico, Nigeria, Egypt, and Pakistan.
Many people still doubt whether the Opay application is legit for many
transfers or not. Yes, Opay is a legit app for transferring and receiving
money. Opay is a licensed company by the central bank of Nigeria. So you can
use it for money transactions and other things it offers.
As a microfinance banking system
With the Opay app, you can borrow loans and payback just the way other
microfinance banks work. You can borrow a loan from its mobile app called
Opay-Okash. You can also borrow a loan from others loan issuers companies
through your Opay account. Fast and easy.
How to register/log in for an Opay account
Opay is a mobile-based application. To register or log in, you will first
need to download the app from the Google Play Store or the App Store since
it has both Android and Apple apps.
To register a fresh account on the app, you will need a valid phone number
that has not been used either by you or any other person to register on the
platform, otherwise, your registration won't work. Since Opay uses a
personal phone number as a means of identification, they accept the use of a
single phone number for only one account. Now let me tell you how to
register an account as a beginner.
STEP 1: Go to the Google Play store or Apple Store (depending on the
device you manage).
STEP 2: Download the application and open it on your smartphone.
STEP 3: To register enter your phone number(make sure the phone
number has not been registered with Opay before)
STEP 4: Enter your OTP. After you have inputted your phone number, a
message containing a One-Time-Password (OTP) will be sent to you.
Alternatively, you can dial *347*010# on your phone with the same sim phone
number you use during your registration just in case your OTP takes a long
time to reach you.
After this, Copy and enter it in the space provided on the page. This
process will redirect you to where you will enter your other details such as
your gender preference and address, etc.
Once you have successfully entered everything correctly you will be taken to
the dashboard as shown in the picture below.
Setting up your account on Opay
