The management of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board(JAMB) has announced the postponement of their JAMB optional mock examination due to the upcoming governorship election which is happening in many states of Nigeria on Saturday, March 18th, 2023.
This announcement was made by JAMB on their Twitter handle and through their weekly bulletin on Monday, March 13th, 2023.
As stated by the JAMB Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Mr. Fabian Benjamin, who represented on their Twitter handle mentioned that the UTME-mock examination that was supposed to take place on Thursday, 16th of March, 2023 will now be moved to Thursday, March 30th, 2023.

They further announced that candidates who registered early and indicated their willingness to take the Mock-UTME would be notified as to when to print their Mock-UTME notification slip, which would contain their centers and other details".
